Southern Rock Explosion is the Sam Morrison Band’s long-running concert journey through the music and spirit of Southern Rock — from Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers Band and The Marshall Tucker Band to 38 Special, Molly Hatchet, The Outlaws and Charlie Daniels. Led by Sam Morrison, the Fullerton, California-based six-piece also tours nationally as Turn The Page, its Bob Seger concert production. Tonight’s sold-out Campus JAX show brings that history into one high-energy set, with Free Bird as the inevitable final call.
