Is collecting really free?
Yes. The standard A card is free, and the paired B card is also free for eligible A collectors. The Living Moment upgrade is entirely optional and costs $15 per eligible card.
What's the difference between A and B?
A is a moment from an earlier Campus JAX performance, offered during a featured show's claim window. B is a different moment created from that featured show. A qualifying A claim is what unlocks eligibility for B.
What if I miss the A claim window?
Every A card displays its own opening and closing times in Pacific time. If the window closes before your qualifying claim is completed, that release's B card isn't unlocked. Watch for the next Momento opportunity.
When will my B card be ready?
After the featured performance, the B card is prepared and published. Eligible collectors can return to their Collection and claim it separately when available. Each release may have its own availability period.
Do I need to register or give my email?
Not to make an initial free device claim. You can optionally protect your collection by verifying an email so your Momentos can be restored across devices. Artist and show alerts are a separate opt-in.
What exactly is a Living Moment?
It's the same numbered Momento enhanced with real performance video and audio plus premium visual treatments. No new A or B card is issued by upgrading. Premium media is available only after activation, not as a public preview.
Where does the $15 go?
Half ($7.50) supports the featured musician. The other half ($7.50) helps JAXhideaway cover ongoing broadcast and production expenses, including payment-processing costs.
How does a paid upgrade unlock?
Pay through Venmo using the unique reference shown on your card. JAXblast confirms the payment before activating the Living Moment. Reporting a payment isn't an instant unlock, and you should not pay twice while verification is pending.
What does 'limited' mean?
A cards have designated claim windows, shown on each release. Availability and features vary by card. A Momento is a personal collectible, not a financial investment or a promise of resale value.
Do I own the music or performance recording?
No. A Momento is a personal digital keepsake with verified performance details; it does not transfer intellectual-property ownership or grant rights to distribute the underlying music, recording or artwork. See the JAXblast Terms.
