Angela Tini’s Rhythm Romp IV
Jump blues, doo-wop and boogie-woogie — a birthday dance live from Campus JAX.
Angela Tini’s Rhythm Romp IV turns Campus JAX into a late-Sunday roots-music dance floor, bringing together the Duchess of Rhythm & Blues, West Coast doo-wop institution Lil’ Mo & The Dynaflos, boogie-woogie master Carl Sonny Leyland, Long Beach blues and soul singer Shy But Flyy, and DJ Anthony Castagna. Tini arrives behind her 2026 album Here Comes Trouble, recorded with Leyland and a veteran roots ensemble. Rather than treating these sounds as nostalgia, Rhythm Romp connects jump blues, doo-wop, piano blues and early rock ’n’ roll as living dance music — made for the room and carried beyond it through StellarJAX.
