MEET THE ARTIST

Marty Axelrod

Los Angeles singer-songwriter and pianist Marty Axelrod is the artist behind Party At My Cave, where melody, story and the piano stay close to the center.

His 2026 solo-piano record makes the writing impossible to hide behind production: voice, piano and songs are the whole architecture.

WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW THEM

Marty Axelrod, in a few essential details.

THE ARTIST

The writer behind Party At My Cave

Party At My Cave is the artist project of Los Angeles singer-songwriter and pianist Marty Axelrod.

THE RECORD

Songs for a Winter Evening

Released in January 2026, the album pares the presentation down to voice and piano.

THE CRAFT

Every song is his

Axelrod wrote every song on the record and performed the piano and vocals himself.

THE STORY

Songs with nowhere to hide.

Marty Axelrod’s Party At My Cave work centers the songwriter rather than the machinery around him. On Songs for a Winter Evening, released in January 2026, the arrangement is reduced to Axelrod’s own voice and piano, with every song written by him. That simplicity is revealing: melody, lyric and harmonic movement have to carry the emotional weight on their own.
