Some records are difficult because the notes are hard. Boston’s debut is difficult because the notes are only part of the record. The sound itself is composition: layers, placement, texture, doubled parts and the way instruments occupy space together. Victor Bender has spent decades on both sides of the glass — performing, producing, engineering, scoring and mixing. Classic Vinyl Live benefits from that double vision: player and producer listening at the same time.

Victor’s credits stretch across scenes that rarely sit on the same résumé: Colombian rock production, classic-rock performance, immersive music, and substantial film/television audio work — including re-recording mixing on BoJack Horseman and audio supervision on Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.

Victor’s screen credits include audio-supervision and re-recording work across major animated and streaming productions, including 16 episodes of BoJack Horseman and 50 episodes of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.

Victor has performed with former Boston guitarist David Victor in multiple Los Angeles rock projects.
