Classic Vinyl Live is not a normal tribute assignment. The goal is not to collect the hits and create a crowd-pleasing set. The album is the structure. That makes musical direction unusually important, because every transition, texture and dynamic turn has to serve the record’s original arc while still working in a live room. Session work teaches detail. Production teaches perspective. Songwriting teaches economy. Tribute work teaches respect for what audiences already know. Larry brings all four disciplines to the room.

Larry’s career connects studio work, original songwriting and some of Southern California’s strongest catalog productions. His Vineyard work includes a documented composition credit for “You Are My Father”; he is also guitarist/vocalist and musical director in The K-Tel All-Stars, has directed Kenny Metcalf’s Elton show, and is already named to lead the next Classic Vinyl challenge: Led Zeppelin IV.
