Kim Woolford

Kim Woolford is the lead female voice of Eagles Ronstadt Experience, and the breadth of the assignment says a great deal about her musicianship. Linda Ronstadt’s catalog can move from intimate balladry to country-rock, Motown, straight-ahead rock and pop within a few songs, and Kim is asked to make all of it feel natural. Her work ranges from the tenderness of “Blue Bayou” to the bite of “You’re No Good,” the exuberance of “Heat Wave” and the swagger of “Tumblin’ Dice.” Just as important, her backing vocals become part of the ensemble sound on the Eagles material, where blend and phrasing matter every bit as much as range. She brings both the horsepower and the restraint the music requires.
